1. April 2007 PIBA Events

April events have marked the beginning of the PIBA event offerings for 2007.  We hope that you have a chance to attend each of these events, and we look forward to seeing you at other events throughout the year.

2. Upcoming PIBA Events

Here are a few of our events coming soon!  Most of our programs that are a minimum of three hours have qualified you for Certification Maintenance (CM) points, which are requested from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) for EH&S Events.  The Board of Certified Safety Professionals offers Continuation of Certification (COC) points at a rate of 0.625 for every 1 ABIH CM point. If you would like more information on any of these meetings, please feel free to contact our staff with questions.

 

4th Annual Regulatory Conference

May 22, 2007, 8:15am – 3:45pm

 

Attendees will be provided with comprehensive and focused discussions from regulatory representatives and subject matter experts on pertinent issues that all of our businesses, clients, EH&S and consulting professionals face on a daily basis.  Here is a basic list of topics that will be covered during the seminar:

                           - Presented by Shin-Roei Lee, Regional Water Quality Control Board

v      Deriving Soil Cleanup Goals

                           - Presented by Keith Roberson, Regional Water Quality Control Board

Here is a list of our events scheduled for the rest of 2007.  If you would like more information on any of these meetings, please feel free to contact our staff with questions. 4. Venue Request

Would your Company like to host a PIBA event?  As 2007 events continue onward, we are looking for new Host Locations.  If your Company has meeting space available for 30+ participants, and would be interested in offering your location, please contact our office: piba@piba.org

 

 

5. Job Post Updates

One of the services PIBA offers is a Job Posting section where Employers can reach out to potential Employees within the industry.  We currently have two new positions with Green Environment available in our reorganized Job Postings section, and we hope to add more on a consistent basis.  If your Company has a position that would be appropriate for our website, please feel free to email it to our office: piba@piba.org

6. Membership Renewals

We appreciate the patience of our members as we transition to our new management company.  They are working very hard to come up to speed just as soon as possible.
